Red Kites Over Harewood

A personal piece created as part of a series that I am currently developing. Living in Leeds, I regularly see the Red Kites flying over head. This initial piece is inspired by their successful release at Harewood House in 1999 as part of the nationwide conservation project to bring them back into the wild.

As a break from digital painting, this was rendered with promarkers and finished with some detailing using a traditional dip pen with Indian ink.
